Hey Music/Media lovers,
I’m on day 4 - 10 days left on free trial
Roon is still adding music to library and whilst doing so, a search for an artist takes 4 everrrrrr!
I waited years to get on board team Roon.
I had high hopes for the tagging and metadata features.
It’d be nice to actually play songs or read all the interesting info that is supposedly available. Someday, maybe?
Does it take the 14 day trial period just to add music ?
Why is the interface so slow and clunky?
I can’t criticize the sound quality, I can barely get a song to play.
Yesterday i posted about slow load times and the only reason I rebooted was to allow the changes to settings to kick in.
I turned off background audio analysis and turned On-demand speed to high.
Other than that this rig stays on always and only serves up my music. I don’t use this rig for anything other than local playback, tag edits (MCutils) and media file lookups
(musicbrainZ, discogs, AMG etc)
