Looks like if you used Sennheiser’s HeadSetup on a Mac or Windows machine, you probably should know about this.
Pretty serious mistake here. This is the kind of thing I’d unfortunately kind of expect from a hardware manufacturer, who may have limited or inexperienced software resources. But writ large.
I hate to run any software that comes on a disk included with a hardware system.

Not sure I understand why this would be necessary:
To allow Sennheiser headphones and speaker phones to work seamlessly with computers, HeadSetup establishes an encrypted Websocket with a browser.
