Set up problem about "Configure Roon OS device"

Due to I am a new comer, so may I ask what is “Configure Roon OS devices” under setup menu. Cause I clicked “configure” button beside “Configure Roon OS devices”, just only see “searching for devices…” is running then nothing happen.
Does anyone of you help?

Core: MacMini (Mid 2011)
processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 8GB 1333MHz DDR3
OS: macOS Sierra version: 10.12.3
Output: PS Direct Stream

This is for ROCK which has not yet been released but the original plan was to have it out when 1.3 launched. Hence that option.

Rock is the hardware?

ROCK is the software, a light weight operating system that incorporates Roon. The hardware would be 5th, 6th or 7th generation Intel NUC.
