Should I get the minidsp shd or shd studio?
The SHD has 2 built in DACs while the Studio version requires you to add 2 DACs but is $300 less.
It’s nice to have an all in one product. While it’s also nice to be able to choose and change DACs whenever I want. What do you guys think?
The DAC is really good, (see audiosciencereview), so why would you trade out DACs, when this is in the top tier already? I’m just using an SHD studio with a NAD M22 amp - equal to (if not better) than my NAD M12 - plus it has room correction.
