LyrionMusicServer and CamillaDSP for speaker/room correction on RaspberryPi 5
Ooh that looks super cool Marin.
Do I take it that the CamillaDSP runs on its own Pi and is that connected to the DAC and running LMS
That might need to be something I have a look at
LMS and CDSP run on the same Pi, which connects via USB over a Topping HS02 USB-Isolator to a SMSL M300MkII DAC.
Thanks I currently have Ropiee running on a Pi4 connected to a Zen DAC II Signature which I mostly use for HQPlayer and LMS.
I might need to do some reading on this
the Pi is running the server, room correction, and functioning as the endpoint?
impressive.
… and comfortably loafing along while serving six zones in perfect sync or separately streaming …
For those using convolution filters developed by REW as well as Parametric EQ, note that the order of processing for these functions will yield different results. The REW filters should probably be first, because they were likely developed without any PEQ, and you can drag the items to change the order.
Just bought Denon DNP 2000, my first Roon Ready Server.
Always thought a server couldn’t make a difference.
Running though same if Zen One Signature DAC sounds much better.
Using ifi’s balanced output.
You mean Streamer / End Point. It is not a Roon server.
I just got the Denon a few days ago. Amazing how much a streamer can have an impact on SQ
Or there might be a thread takeover by those who want to argue that point to death ![]()
I have a iFi Zen DAC II Signature and it is a great little DAC, I just use my device with a Pi and a USB suppressor and very happy with it (for now)
Is this an autocorrect word, or what do you mean? ![]()
Oops a usb noise suppressor, as opposed to suppressing the USB output from the Pi ![]()
A diminutive little hifime model 2
MQA on Qobuz, didn’t know they had any mqa tracks.
They have when that is the only thing a label will provide, for example, 2L.
shhh, don’t tell anyone.
