Ouch, hope it all heals well.

@brennan_peyton Oh carp! What did you do?! :face_with_peeking_eye:

We’ll be in Kelowna next week with both bike sets. Gravel bikes on the kettle valley trail. And then some MTB rides above the lake.

Pretty bikes btw

As a bike shop owner who has sold e-bikes from at least 5 manufacturers, I would not buy one from anyone other than Specialized. They design their own motors and electronics, and their software is easier to use than anyone else’s.

As far a carbon goes, Specialized carbon e-bikes are very sturdy and do not weigh less than their aluminum counterparts. I would ride both before deciding the carbon is worth the extra $$$

My first Carbon Bike, also my first full suspension MTB, also my first e-MTB, my first bike with 12 rear gears and one in the front and my first electrical rear shifter.
So a lot of new stuff for me.
But it is great fun!

Whereabout is this? Lovely views!

It was the Kettle Valley Railway above Kelowna British Columbia. Easy grades and views of lakes and wineries. Tunnels and huge trestle bridges. It was ab easy ride but quite beautiful.

Don’t ever move

I moved to South Africa in 1996 with a 20 foot container -don’ even ask

“when did you last read it ,play it , use it” my vinyl was a casualty :smiling_face_with_tear:

Titanium is so NOW , I had a 15 cm 2 wire scaffolding fitted to my neck

I was so disappointed it doesn’t set off the alarms at airports , neither does my Titanium ankle joint

As I get older my desire for a new bike doesn’t really diminish, but there is something about being happy with what I have. (Parallels with HiFi!). Here is my 2015 (where did the years go?) Trek Domane, still very enjoyable to ride. A couple of photos from recent ride up to Bogong Village where there is beautiful fresh spring for a bidon refill and the rhododendrons are now in full bloom.
