Another Saturday, another Moto Guzzi ice cream run.
Hard to tell but it’s a Dairy Queen, it was very busy.
I got a salted caramel truffle blizzard ( small folks ).
The Griso got fresh gas a few miles later.
All that ice cream
That’s why none of my bikes are less than 1000cc…
Edit…doh…forgot I had changed the Blackbird (1300) for the Kawagusta (800) so this statement is patently untrue…
But you got the jest
Mine is more of a big arc(sorry for swearing) rather than a squiggly line.
And I’m sure this will be a big surprise
In my defense yer Honour.
It was a small dish and I’m fairly sure it’s slightly more healthy than a big greasy cheeseburger .
Are you addicted to that stuff? As an aside, the movie The Stuff is an enjoyable B horror movie escape. I actually saw it in the theaters.
You could take every food option in the world away apart from ice cream and I would still be
Snoopy doesn’t know the difference between your and you’re. Beagles are supposed to be smart.
Weather in France still broken - never been on Route Napoleon at 15c in August
‘Warmed’ up to about 20c by here
Sisteron pleasant and fairly normal at 28c mid afternoon
Need an apostrophe after the N in the F word that Roon will not let me type even though it is ok in a cartoon that it can’t pick the word out in.
There is another one which I will leave for someone else to nitpick at
Just decided to end my life-long motorbike career last Friday morning on my way to work.
It’s been a real close call in a crash caused by the garbage collection truck, illegally trying to take a left turn coming from a parking lot.
I got stuck with my helmet between the street and the oncoming transporter’s front fender.
Luckily, my protection gear worked as advertised and I’m suffering “only” from contusions, bruises, and loosing my faith.
Bye bye MT-09 …
Good luck to all you bikers out there
That’s horrific!
But glad you are “ok”!
Sorry to hear this .
Hopefully it stays “only” contusions and bruises.
Take it easy for a few days to make sure.
Good that you are still vertical.
Glad to hear you are o.k. If you feel that way about having such a close call then I think you have made the right decision.
I enjoy riding but know that I am more vulnerable than in a car, the enjoyment for me outweighs the extra risk.
For you biker (and racecar) aficianados, check out Barber Motorsports Museum in Birmingham (AL). Over 1000 bikes on display. And a F1 quality track next door.
Yep, been twice, a must see for any bike fan, even the wife was impressed!
