First impression?
Just asking 
I’ve been lurking here and thought I should share. The brains of my setup is an i5 NUC running ROCK in my server room with a 2TB SSD full of music. In my unfinished basement, I have a two channel setup with Martin Logan Aerius i speakers with an ATI 1502 driving the woofers, a PrimaLuna ProLogue 5 driving the panels and (out-of-frame) a Martin Logan Depth sub. I also have a desktop setup which has a Schiit Valhalla 2 powering Dan Clark ÆON 2s. Both have Raspberry Pi 4s running Ropieee feeding a Topping E30 DAC.

Great little venue. Among many others, we saw Biffy Clyro there in 2014 - amazing to see such a massive band (in the UK at least) in such an intimate little venue.

I’ve been fortunate to have been able to get to many concerts over the years, everyone from the Who, Led Zeppelin their heyday, the Stones, Heart when they were first starting out in a small venue in Port Coquitlam, but the loudest ever was Chilliwack at the Commodore.
My younger brother had Heart play for his grad at the Commodore. Great venue!

The protective sticker on the power button on the NUC has not been peeled yet! How can you resist that?!?!
If you leave the sticker on it buys you time, when you finally peel it off it’s like new! But seriously, it’s mounted out-of-sight on the underside of a shelf that is about 2 feet off the ground, and has been since I got it, so I didn’t even notice.

Awesome. I remember walking up and down Granville, after part of an opening act, trying to find something to shove in my ears to save my hearing for The English Beat. And a few decades later, my wife and I were easily the oldest, and our 10 year-old daughter easily the youngest, at an epic all-ages Broken Social Scene concert. Love the Commodore.

Are you using the Chromecast capability with Roon?
cool. I’ve got a handful of Tivoli Model One’s that I use to use in those sort of places. All stored away now. But I could stick something off the back and make all these streamers, via the AUX in. They sound very nice given their size.
