My second system:
LS50W Mk1 on Foundation Signature stands with REL S/3, IsoTek plug board, KEF’s upgrade cable linking the two
Fed wirelessly - router is about 4m away and I get ~300mbs so no issues with drop outs
The model boat is actually sitting on an original Foundation stand that used to live under Celestion SL600s

Next step is replacing the KEF’s for Planet M’s and getting another Sub for under the bed to make the rears full range and getting real sub. The Rel doesn’t go real deep but works great to make te front speakers full range.

Moved the Eversolo DMP-A6 into my office/den, and have been using a Denafrips Arce streamer in my main system for the past couple of weeks. I like it. Works with HQPlayer NAA, Airplay, and as a roon bridge. Amusing to (try to) compare straight non-oversampled PCM from roon with HQPlayer’s DSD upsampling and filters.
The main system gear is in a closet, so the Eversolo’s screen was wasted. Nicer in the den where I can see it. Schiit Freya+ preamp goes into one of those cool little Fosi ZA3 class D amps. Impressive little amp.

A avowed to not buy any new gear for a while in 2024. But here I am after spending some chump change on a new desktop audio rig. It comprises of a Schiit Lyr+ and SMSL DO300 DAC fed to Kanto YU4 speakers. For the “low cost” outlay this is really sublime. Streaming Qobuz/NAS library via ROON/NUC ROCK.
I was going to get Schiit Bifrost DAC for the Lyr+ since it’s matchy-match but cost seems too high at the moment. This DO300 is actually very good.
