I am referring here to a convesation from Spring 2023: Shuffle an artist is starting on only one album - Support - Roon Labs Community. I myself failed to start a shuffle from the whole discography of an artist, including albums not in my library.
The work-around mentioned in the conversation, selecting albums manually to put them into a play list, which can be shuffled, works.
There is a more direct way, which does not involve the creation of a play list, which will eventually have to be deleted. Select one album in the discography and then select “Select all” in the play field top left of the window. If the settings are set correctly, Play gives the option of shuffling.
I did not find this in the description of the shuffle option by Roon; why?
