Hi all - hoping there’s a user in here who knows, as I’ve contacted SimAudio directly and not received any reply
I’m considering a Moon Neo Ace as an all-in-one solution. This will be connected to a fully-wired LAN by ethernet but will not have direct USB access to anything, it will be ethernet only. Does anyone know if it can operate fully using ethernet, or does it require a USB connection to act as a Roon Ready enpoint?
I currently use the Simaudio Moon 390 Preamp and have it only connected via Ethernet and it works great as a Roon Ready endpoint.
Mind 2 is required to be Roon Ready, which the Ace will have if you buy new.

Another thing I like about it is that I can use the Moon Remote to pause/play, next/previous and stop playback. You can also tap/click the volume icon at the lower right of the Roon screen and click the power toggle to turn the Moon device on and off.
