Description of Issue
I wish to once more report an easily reproducible and annoying bug which has been reported before and which has fallen into oblivion.
When playing an album, Roon presents a ‘Similar Album’ section beneath the track list, following the ‘Recommended Albums’ section. All albums shown in this ‘Similar Albums’ section are albums already included in the library. In other words, Roon selects what it thinks are similar albums from the library and presents these as recommendation:
Clicking on any of these albums will bring up the streaming service version of the album, instead of the library version. Yes, this is an instance of the infamous library-non library identity problem:
Yet, looking under the Versions tab will show the album as already present in the library:
