Describe The Issue

before your last upgrade roon ran great - I liked it. But

since the last up grade everything takes forever to load.

Albums and tracks come in and out of view.

How much free space do you have on the boot drive of the core machine?

Perhaps this is coincidental?

Also what else is running on the core PC that is not roon related, like antivirus scans or backups etc?

you didn’t detail your network setup. Or your output device for that matter.

Is the behavior similar to the problem described here:

…or does the interface load, but is then slow to populate images or text fields?

Are you noticing this behavior on ALL of your devices, core and remotes?

Hi @Jack_Parks ----- Thank you for verifying that information for me, very appreciated!

Can you confirm what type of graphics cared you are using? If you are by chance using the Intel HD 4000, we have seen similar issue occur (performance wise) which have been linked to a semi recent Windows update. More information here.

I don’t know if it is the 4000, how would I tell?

Run MSINFO (click the Start button, start typing msinfo, and then press Enter when the MSINFO app appears as the first search result)

Expand the System summary and select Components -> Multimedia -> Display, and the details of the graphics hardware on your machine will be displayed.
