Description Of Issue
Hi all,

New to roon. Just got a Nucleus+. First turn it on, waiting for “checking for an update…” , it seems taking forever . Should I reset and how?

Thank you in advance.
Leon

The support team will want to know what your network setup consists of. You should add that information now and save some time.

I’d unplug it – wait about 20 seconds – and try again. Can’t hurt to try this before the Roon tech people chime in.

Hi @Leon_Le,

Is there any change if you reboot the Nucleus from the Nucleus Web Administration Interface?

Thanks!

I just got my Roon Nucleus+ Rev B. Out of the box it had version 1.6 and gave a prompt to update it to 1.7 but it has been about almost 4 hours and it is only 55% of the way through. I checked my Internet connection which is fine. Is it possible that the roon server is slow and that’s why the update is taking so long? Any suggestions? Thank you

Sounds like a glitch. I’d reboot the Nucleus + and start the upgrade over.

Yes that fixed it, thank you
