Some devices & some remotes cannot see Roon Server

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Windows 10 Pro 20H2 running Roon Server downloaded from roonlabs.com 8 days ago.

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
Network connected through a Netgear 16 port unmanaged gigabit switch with a Linksys WRT1200AC router running DD-WRT firmware

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Chromecast audio with network adaptor, (no wifi) & a Raspberry Pi 2 with IQ Audio hat running Ropiee XL 3.020.
Note was successfully using a Bluesound Node 2i until earlier today, (no longer used because I’ve sold it).

Description Of Issue
Raspberry Pi cannot “see” Roon Server & Roon Server cannot “see” it. I can successfully connect to the Ropiee web interface from the PC running Roon server.

Initially I thought it was a Ropiee issue, but then I loaded Roon on another 2 PCs to use as a remote & they both had difficulty connecting as did my Android phone initially.

I have gone into the server PC & opened the firewall for both roonserver & RAAT.

Please advise!

Hello @Peter_Hocking, if you connect the pi via Ethernet do you still have this issue? Also, did you try disabling the firewall entirely to see if that helps?

Hi Nuwriy
I’ve since resolved the problem, thank you, it was a configuration issue.

Glad to hear that, @Peter_Hocking! Can you let us know what the configuration issue was? It is always good to have that documented for others who might have similar issues in the future.

Thanks!
