We wanted to revive this thread since we haven’t seen a response in some time.
If slow loading is only affecting streaming content (and not your local storage tracks), then please try assigning a reliable DNS server in the router settings page. On Orbi routers, this is usually under the “Advanced” → “Internet Setup” → “Domain Name Server” tab. We recommend assigning Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) as the primary DNS server.
If local tracks are slow to load, too, does it affect tracks in different Watched Folder locations?
Try disabling all DSP within Roon and playing tracks back at the lowest available sample rate. Can you reproduce the slow loading?
