Connection to Sonic Orbiter disconnecting, not on a regular basis. I reinstalled Roon on Sonic Orbiter Friday night and all good until about 10:50 this morning. It reconnected after about fifteen minutes.

I am only using Sonos
Home Network Details
Router is a Hitron model CODA 1582 WITH 1gb speed, connected to eero then a switch. i5 is connected via ethernet cable to the switch
Between the router and the switch I have eero. When I disconnect from this and connect from the router to the sonicOrbiter with the cable the sonicOrbiter does not connect.
I did as above. What I am finding now is when a track finishes it will go to the next one, play a few seconds then stop playing although it looks as if it is playing, then continue. Previously it would disconnect from server for several minutes while Roon looked for server. It is as though Roon is catching up with sonicOrbiter or vice versa.
It does not matter what I am playing. If I try to do a search then everything stops to catch up. The search stopped everything. I will play something now and do a search and get back to you.
I did the reboots and I still have problems. When a track finishes the music automatically jumps to the next track. If I push to the next track the music stops. If I am playing tracks and try a search or genre change then the music stops. I loaded some new albums this morning and they do not show in Roon unless I reboot my server. I just noticed album artwork takes almost 30 seconds before it changes to the next tune.
Thanks for the update. The initial scan of logs didn’t prove successful, if you could please share another track name and timestamp that would be helpful.
Based on your account info, I see you are also running Roon Server from an iMac. Do you experience the same issue when using this device as your server?
Note that you can only run a single server per Roon account, so make sure you fully deauthorize your sonic orbiter before using the iMac.
I spoke with Andrew at Small Green Computer and he suggested I upgrade the i5 because of the large number of tracks. I do experience the same issues but to a lesser extent when using iMac as the server.
