Sonic Orbitor Unable to Find FiiO and Escape P6 Air Devices on New Network (ref#BOJVM8)

Full form submission

What’s happening?

I'm having trouble with my DAC, speakers, streamer, etc.

What best describes the issue with your audio device?

My device used to show up in Settings > Audio, now it's gone

I have moved my sonic orbitor to a new network and it no longer can find two of my devices on the network my FiiO and my Escape P6 Air

For Roon to work as intended, all attached audio devices must be on the same network (subnet) as the Roon server. For example, if the server’s IP address is 192.168.0.101, then all other audio devices must have an address in the 192.168.0.0 subnet whether connected using Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

It would be really helpful if you confirmed the IP addresses of your server and the other two devices. Likewise, a brief description of the network components used would be useful.

Ideally, set up your Wi-Fi, so IP addresses are provided by the router’s DHCP server.

So the sonic orbiter ip address is IP Address: 192.168.1.38
The FiiO IP address is 192.168.68.121
The Escape Air 6 IP address is 192.168.68.119

The Sonic Orbiter is hard wired to a TP Link Router which is connected to Starlink

I am guest sitting a house so I don’t think I can get in and reconfigure his router.

Ok - this made a ton of sense. My sonic orbiter was hard wired to a switch which was hard wired to Starlink. The TP Link Wireless Router was hard wired to Starlink via the same switch. I unplugged my sonic orbiter from the switch and hard wired it to the TP link wireless router and bingo! Thanks! This issue is closed out. Thank you for the networking 101 tutorial!

Oops, just as one problem is solved another has popped up. When the FiiO and Escape Air 6 are grouped, the music keeps pausing. Individually they work just fine…

Both are inside and right near the router.
