Sonos Amp Line Input switch?

I’m probably being really dumb, but I’ve only recently started to use the line in on my Sonos amp (to connect to a PC when I need audio on that) however unless I use the Sonos app, I can figure out a way flipping the Sonos amp into line in mode via room? I take its not possible?

Edit - Note, I don’t want to output the line in audio via room etc. I just want to switch the Sonos to line in opposed to the default Sonos input?

Hi @Funky

On a Sonos Five with a 3.5mm aux line in you can (was able to the last time I checked) set it up to auto detect/switch to line in upon receiving a signal. It’d be odd if this wasn’t the same for a Sonos Amp.

I think you can also do this with the HDMI input.

I have just installed/set up a Sonos AMP. It is my understanding that the HDMI input is for Audio Return Channel (ARC) from a TV. I do not know if eARC will work, but it might. This input will not accept or pass HDMI signals from any other source. Let me know if your experiments prove me wrong!
