Diagnostics indicate that the Sonos Five was last visible in mid-December, although it was registering to a separate WiFi frequency band than the other Sonos devices that were paired as Roon Zones.
Please verify that IGMP snooping is toggled on along with multicast forwarding in your router settings. I recommend hardwiring the Sonos Five via ethernet for testing, or at least restricting the WiFi bandwidth to the 2.4 channel.
No other Sonos devices are visible at this time in RoonServer logs, so we can assume this issue is a more systemic problem with device announcement between RoonServer and the network via the Sonos/Roon discovery protocol.
In your Mac System Settings on your RoonServer machine, make sure you have toggled Local network access on for RoonServer in Privacy & Security → Local Network.
Restart your router and network nodes. Make sure all your devices are on a single subnet.
No Sonos devices are visible as devices currently and haven’t been for months. I can’t find the IGMP snooping setting in my outer settings, I’ve looked and googled for my Unifi system. I do have Roon toggled on for local network access on my Mac. I also did factory reset on Sonos Five. Any other ideas?
Thanks for the follow-up - sorry to hear you’re still having issues with your Sonos devices!
My apologies if this has been glazed over already, but have you tried setting up a temporary hardwire connection with one of your Sonos devices directly to your router?
What happens if you re-toggle this toggle, then restart Roon Server (not the mac, just Roon Server) - are you able to see your Sonos devices now?
