It sounds like your Sonos devices are on a separate subnet from your Roon Core. The simplest way to resolve this would be to Bridge your Xfinity modem/router and use the Asus mesh central router as the main router in your LAN. You could then hardwire your ROCK to the Asus mesh central router and use the Asus WiFi/ethernet to connect your Remotes and endpoints.
There are otherwise a few troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Sonos discovery and playback with Roon rely on multicast and UPnP, so it’s worth verifying that both are enabled in your Asus mesh network and switch.
- If you’re using a managed switch, it may be filtering traffic to/from the Boost. What happens if you connect the Boost to the Asus network directly via WiFi or ethernet?
- Do you have any issues with your other listed DAC, the Schiit Bifrost 2?
