· I've been using ROON with a Stack Audio Link11 wired and a Sonos on WIFi. Recently I replaced the Stack Audio with a Nucleus one now I'm unable to get the Sonos to work. I'm using Nord VPN.
I’m afraid we’ll require the screenshot that @vadim has requested above in order to take any effective troubleshooting action on this thread.
Consumer VPNs like NordVPN tend to interrupt Roon’s device discovery protocols. Please try disabling the VPN and reinitiating a network discovery cycle by refreshing the Settings → Audio page in Roon (circular arrow at the top right of the page).
If you’re using any managed switches from Stack Audio, try bypassing those to ensure they’re not handling multicast traffic in an unexpected manner from Roon’s perspective.
Lastly, keep in mind that the Roam series from Sonos has aggressive battery saver features that will limit WiFi antenna activity after certain durations of inactivity. Try ensurring the Sonos speaker has direct line-of-sight to a network access point, router, or mesh node and is connected to a power source.

The latest account diagnostics indicate that the Nucleus One might have been active since you last posted here. If you’ve resolved this problem behind the scenes or don’t require any additional troubleshooting, you can simply allow this thread to auto-close.
If you find this thread has auto-closed and do require additional assistance, you can reactivate the thread by submitting a new request here. Our team will follow up properly. Thank you!
Hi, I don’t understand a word of this page. I do apologise for not getting back, I’ve been waiting for my grandson to sort this out for me. I will see him on Thursday.
