Sonos Play 5 support

You can connect Sonos in many different ways. I stream Roon to two rooms plus a rooftop, simply by connecting a Sonos Connect wireless receiver to the zone 2 audio outputs of my Marantz pre-pro, which is fed audio signals from my dac. Set the Sonos Connect to line input and any Sonos speaker can pick up the stream.

I was hoping to stream directly. In that light, apparently it can’t be done.

Hope the staff at Roon can shed more light about this.
