Hello,
I am new to this but have already solved some issues in Roon but this one I can’t manage. The sort order in album view is quite good but I have a group called A Fine Frenzy which is categorized under F instead of under A. I have a tag Sort Artist but that is ignored by Roon. What can I do?

Sorry, couldn’t resist. 
I suspect its a standard manipulation to virtually remove the A, An, and The for sorting purposes. Thus “The Beatles” (their official name) is found under B, not T. I don’t know of a way to get around this. You might try using a multi-letter word that starts with A (Aardvark?) in SORTARTIST but that may have side effects. Dunno
You may not appreciate it now, but in time you will find dozens, maybe scores, of little sorting and tagging issues such as these. Don’t let them get under your skin. Happy tagging.
