Description of Issue

Sound drops off or pauses for a few seconds most often just after song advanced to next track.

@edward_warth, this behavoir is typical of a network issue. Are your Sonos speakers connected via SononNet or directly via WiFi? If via SonosNet, many Roon users have experienced issues with it; using WiFi or Ethernet-cable connected Sonos systems in place of SonosNet tends to resolve the playback issues.

How are your Nucleus and MBPro connected to your network?

Thanks for the response, i have all of the zones connected with ethernet cable via google nest points. one room has two sonos speakers on SonosNet ( no ethernet connector on these two speakers )
Nucleus in connected with Ethernet MBPro in on WiFi.
internet connection is blazing fast.

What if you connect those two Sonos WiFi speakers directly to you WiFi network instead of SonosNet?

The two speakers in one of the Zones are the Sonos ERA 100 these speakers doe not have a ethernet connection port as part of their design.

Hi @edward_warth ,

Can you please confirm if this issue only happens on Sonos zones, or are you also able to reproduce the issue on other zones, like System Output? Does the issue happen for both streaming and local content? Can you please let us know the exact local time + date + track when you next experience the issue? We can enable diagnostics mode after and see if your Roon Server displays any errors.
