Description of Issue

The audio quality is not the same after the latest Roon Core 2.0 / 1182 update. The highs are hard and metallic. Not as analog-like as before. This was also reported to me by other people. What can be the issue?

According to the release notes, no changes affect the signal path. Maybe something in the analogue domain has changed or you have applied DSP and altered the signal path?

I can confirm what @Martin_Webster mentioned is the case. We’ve not made any changes to sound processing. Have you confirmed whether or not there are any changes in your signal path and/or DSP settings?
