Soundtracks Anybody?

I know I’ve not posted this previously, but assumed it had been - I don’t see it so…

Ron Grainer
The Omega Man (1971)

Australian composer that moved to the UK to pursue his musical career best known for Doctor Who & The Prisoner themes - two of my all time fav tv series).

Listeners who don’t appreciate '70s pop or lounge styles may not enjoy the combination of styles The Omega Man presents, but no one can deny that Grainer has created a tight, skillfully arranged score that is packed to the gills with memorable melodies. As a result, The Omega Man is an ideal soundtrack choice for anyone who enjoys both film scores and lounge music. (allmusic)

Well I do like lounge styles, however, I’m just not convinced this is a great soundtrack without the movie alongside it. In it’s context it’s certainly apt.

Opening Credits
This movie was rather scary/suspenseful when I was a kiddo.

Where have all the people gone
The main melody totally reminds me of another theme starting @ 20sec, until it branches out.
