@danny, is it possible to delete a number of incorrect translations into Spanish that received many good votes and, therefore, are still considered as the best translations available for certain strings? My current Spanish admin profile does not allow me to do it. Thanks
Hola, soy nuevo en Roon. Me gustaría saber que es lo que se está traduciendo al español, porque cuando veo los textos sobre compositores, artistas…… estan en ingles, o es que debo configurar alguna cosa para que aparezcan en español?

Los textos sobre artistas y álbumes, muchos de los cuales provienen de fuentes externas (Allmusic), no están traducidos ni se pueden traducir aquí. Como es de esperar, tampoco responden al cambio de idioma en Roon.
Lo que traducimos son los textos propios integrados en las aplicaciones de Roon.

Una pregunta de lego en estos temas, porque no se puede implementar un traductor como Google Translate para hacer el trabajo?
Las traducciones automáticas no garantizan la calidad necesaria para asegurar que los textos son coherentes y entendibles. Además, existen textos que incluyen terminología especializada y, por otro lado, muchos textos sólo pueden traducirse adecuadamente conociendo el contexto, es decir, en qué lugar dentro de Roon se muestran al usuario. Traductores voluntarios también han propuesto traducciones incorrectas por no conocer el contexto donde aparece el texto en Roon que están traduciendo.

A few cases to be corrected (I have proposed corrections for all of them):
“On” / “on” translated as “switched on” (encendido), when they refer to a track on an album:

“Disabled”: misspelled word, “desabilitado” (wrong) instead of “deshabilitado” (right) (“desactivado” is preferred, though)

“Play now”: translated as “Reproducir Ahora” (upper letter in Ahora is not appropriate).

In any case, if it is not possible to reset votes received by certain translations, it will be impossible to ensure consistency across all the strings translated into Spanish.

Can someone please change the translation from “Simple” to “Single” when referring to the type of disc.
By the way, could you add the Maxi-Single or 12" disc format? I don’t see it available in the disc type selection option.

I have voted for translation “Sencillo” so that it should replace “Simple” next time strings are updated on Roon.

I have seen that “Simple” has been changed to “Sencillo”, but that translation is incorrect.
The correct one would be “Single”.

Gracias por el comentario. En su momento proporcioné una traducción alternativa a este texto, pero en el modelo colaborativo de traducción de Roon se publica la traducción con mayor número de votos; aparentemente, esa traducción incorrecta ha recibido más votos, lo que explica que siga publicada.
