Are the video drivers from the manufacturer site, not windows update.
Video drivers are installed up-to-date versions from the websites of video card manufacturers.
Please post a screenshot that illustrates what you are seeing.
Since official support for your chosen OS endee from the manufacturers years ago, i think it’s hardly appropriate to claim they “are up to date”?
It’s time to upgrade, mate! 
OS has nothing to do with it. Everything worked fine in Roon. And it broke the correct display of graphics, after the latest Roon updates, the OS itself works flawlessly.
Which video card are you using on the Win 7 PC?
Instead of video card manufacturers, get the driver from video chip manufacturer, i.e. nVidia / AMD / Intel as appropriate. Uninstall your old video driver, reboot, then install the new one.
In the unlikely event you’re not able to obtain a newer driver, do the uninstall / reboot / reinstall anyway.
A likely cause for the problem you see is that your driver is corrupted by Windows update.

The driver not compatible with Roon was automatically installed. On your advice, downloaded and installed manually from the AMD website, now everything is fine!
