Spontaneous freezing with Pink Faun server and Mola Mola DAC (ref#FHNNJJ)

What’s happening?

· I am experiencing freezes or crashes

Describe the issue

I have been using the Pink Faun server with the Mola Mola dac via usb. The sources are Qoboz and an external hard drive. Recently I have been having spontaneous freezing requiring waiting and rebooting the server. If there is a firmware update after a freeze I can usually get it going but it seems to just happen without a known cause. I have a very strong wifi connection via ethernet. My PF has been examined by their tech guy and it working well.

Not possible. It’s either wifi or ethernet.

Thank you for your post. We’ve pulled diagnostic logging from the affected RoonServer but don’t see a managed crash - can you please provide a precise timestamp of when you last experienced this disconnection event? We’ll use that to pinpoint the problem diagnostically.

What is the specific symptom you’re encountering - do you see the 'Waiting for your Roonserver" screen on your Roon controllers?

Where is the Pink Faun connected to the internet in this network topology below? Are you connecting the USB RME DAC to the Pink Faun itself or to another Roon bridge/controller?
