Squeezebox devices not visible in Roon (ref#7VPVCL)

I'm having trouble connecting to Roon

What type of connection issue?

*None* of my remotes can connect

I have 4 squeezebox devices that I was using on roon yesterday. Today, I cannot see any of them in roon

Thank you for being so patient while we worked through the queue. Has anything changed about your network or have any of your network devices had updates since the last time your squeezeboxes worked with Roon? Also please let us know the make and model of your network devices and how they are connected.

Nothing has changed(nothing that I know of) .
I have a squeezebox touch, a squeezebox boom and a squeezebox radio all attached via wifi. However, i cannot get the roon server to run at this point to even connect to. I get to the point of the roon server connect message and the application goes no further.

Can you upload a screenshot of this screen? Make sure to edit out your email if it appears in the screenshot.

If you go to the taskbar on your Windows machine do you see Roon there? If you do what is the server status when you right-click on it? My thought is that since you’re connecting from the computer that hosts the Roon server the Roon UI may have started without the RAAT server starting as well.

I see raatsever as well as Roonappliance and Roonserver in the task manager

@John_Hungerford sorry for the long wait for a response. If you are still experiencing this issue do you see Roon.exe in task manager?

Yes i see them. I believe the issue i am having is with the EXpressVPN application. I am also working with them…

That seems like a solid possibility as Roon is not designed to work with VPNs.

Yes. As long as i turn the VPN off, i can get ROON to work. I have to figure out the different tunneling aspects of the VPN…When if if i find a workaround, i will post my findings.
