Static is heard when switching from Flac 44/16 to DSD64

I found another solution which I now prefer so that I can use Native DSD playback. Since the static noise only occurs when switching from 44.1 kHz tracks to DSD tracks and not when switching from any other frequency to DSD, I decided to try upsampling 44.1 kHz tracks to 48. Doing this has completely removed the noise which was occurring at the start of the DSD track. Thank you all for your help!

is the the XMOS USB interface bug at play here I wonder…or is my recollection of the symptoms failing me.

DAC issues with XMOS usb chipset and Roon on Linux

There seems to be a growing number of support threads all relating to the same thing. Roon is hanging the DAC when bitrate switching. It only seems to effects endpoints running Linux and the DAC has the XMOS usb chipset. This can be endpoints running Roonbridge on dietpi, Ropieee, Rock and even the Nucleus itself amongst others.
