This really sucks. Always loved his reviews. I guess like many other things, AllMusic is going downhill. :slightly_frowning_face:

I will miss him but glad his reviews are still all over that site (and into Roon). But his recent staff picks were Brinsley Schwarz, Elvis Presley, and The Meters. There were a lot of other participant staff with very diverse picks on that page. Perhaps he was instrumental in getting reviews out for reissues and such during the heyday of CDs and things have grown diverse and there is only so much you can write about the classics? IDK. Cherry Red still pumps out legacy back catalogue stuff, so if his tastes were more in the past, there are still releases coming he could review. I don’t know all of his music tastes, but the reviews I see for my current batch of contemporary favorites are written by others.
