Hi all,
Looking for suggestions for storing hi-res files on external hd. I’m thinking of upgrading Quobuz for this. I am running a NUC atm going to an Ifi dac and have some old FLAC on a stick drive but there is limited space. So, question is what would be a good size, brand etc.

Pick any of the major brands, Seagate WD etc, HDD is fast enough even for 24/192 .SSD is silent , horses for courses
If your NUC is the tall form maybe go SSD internally . Mine is a 4Tb Crucial, but Samsung get rave reviews.( they were out of stock in the country when I built my NUC)
Like any computer or audio topic , ask 10 people you’ll get 11 opinions. Each brand/type has it’s fans , you are unlikely to get a definitive recommendation 
Thanks for that Mike. There’s a deal on crucial on amazon for 1tb 67euros, the Samsung T7 touch double. Going to have a think but thanks for the clarification.
