Is it possible to stream music files via Wi-Fi to a pair of Oppo Sonica speakers?

System: Roon - WD NAS - microRendu - Ifi - DAC - AirPort Extreme - Denon AVR 3608 - Anthony Gallo Divia Ti

You should be able to use AirPlay.

Yes to one at a time but I think when I tried to send to a stereo paired set it was not working as I had hoped.

I’m waiting to get my sonica dac back and see if that works any better as the link manager.

I’m using Roon to play the music files. Will AirPlay work with Roon? I looked on my phone and it only showed ITunes and Apple TV.

Wouldn’t I need to be using iTunes to manage files. I’m using Roon to manage files.

You should see AirPlay devices as zones in Roon.

I do. how do. when I click on hem the music doesn’t play through. I not very tech savvy. is there a step by step tutorial showing me what to do?

You do need to enable the airplay devices in the roon settings under audio devices…name them whatever you like and you can group them, but only with other airplay devices
