Hello Benjamin, I am very glad you’ll be helping me. I just uploaded my logs. and a console report. I haven’t been able to listen to music all day.Music plays 12 to 14 hours a day here.I pray everyone’s God you will be able to help me quickly.

Any update?

I need this issue to be resolved. It’s not normal to not have a solution or progress after 3 days. I am a paying customer, and your product is not working. Also, to have to resort to a public forum is RIDICULOUS.

Hello @Jacques_Racine

There is a fix and it is available right now.

Roon 2.71 build 1683 was released on 6 August and it specifically fixes Roon Server failing to start on macOS 12 and 13. Your crash report matches it exactly. There is nothing wrong with your Mac mini and nothing you did caused this.

Please download it here and install it:

Please install 1683 and let us know that you are back up. If anything is still not working after that, reply here and we will stay on it.

Hello Vadim, good to hear from you.

How do I know if I have your latest version, as there is no version number anywhere?

I installed the version available on your website and I have no progress.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello @Jacques_Racine

Good news: you are up and running, and have been since the morning of 8 August.

Your server came up on build 1683 at 10:18 that morning and has been running normally ever since.

To answer your question properly, since you will want it again one day: once Roon is running, the version is under Settings, then About. When it will not start, it is written at the top of the log file instead, in ~/Library/RoonServer/Logs/RoonServer_log(x).txt, on the very first line.

Nothing about this was your fault and nothing about your Mac mini was wrong. You were down for four days because of a bug we shipped, and you were right to keep pushing.

If anything is still not behaving, please reply here and we will pick it up. Otherwise, enjoy the music.
