Description Of Issue

I’m getting some strange stuttering when occasionally the song restarts over then moves back to its original spot. I’ve attempted this in HQ Player and using RopieeeXL as only a roon endpoint, but have had the issue in both.

Hi @Corey_Junge,

Welcome to the forum! Can you please try to output to your System Output zone and let me know if there are any issues when playing to that zone? It should output to your PCs internal speakers.

Hey @noris , thanks for the reply. Yeah i’ve tried various ways of using roon in my environment and haven’t gotten it to run stable. I still get intermittent jitters. I’m primarily using Tidal, and i wasn’t getting the issues by casting in the past with the tidal app primarily on iphone. I"m going to need time to sort this issue out. as i’ve been trying reinstalls/ using roon core on dedicate hardware / linux and windows and still having issues. I’m seriously contemplating getting a intel Nuc to run Rock i’m guessing that would eliminate many variables.

@noris oks like there may be an issue with MQA authentication… wondering if you have seen something similar where this goes blank temporarily then goes back to normal

Thanks for those additional details and the log snippet.

It sounds like you have simplified the setup and the issue is still occurring on multiple zones.

Can you please provide some more details regarding your network setup? What is the model/manufacturer of your networking gear?

Have you tried to use System Output? Does it have the same issue as the other zones?

To test if this issue is related to MQA, you can try setting MQA Capabilities to None in Device Setup, can you please give this a try as well?
