Description of Issue

Hi, I have a spanking new iFi hip dac2, when I’m setting up Audio I don’t see it listed as one of the iFi devices. I’m using the iFi Micro iDac2 but I’m wondering if one of the other units are a better match? Thanks!

Standalone DACs that are not networked or streamers (basically just a USB DAC) should work fine with Roon. I have ~10, some are Roon Tested, some are not, and all work fine.

I have friends who have ~ 10 guitars. Or 30 in normal math

Stick with what it gives as its setting it up based on what it can detect your not going to improve on this. None of my dacs are roon tested I just leave them at defaults.
