Example for usage: I would like to use Roon on one side of the screen while reading a pdf-booklet on the other half of the screen. (I am currently using an iPad Pro 12.9, 2nd gen.)

Yes @Joerg_Wenzel, many of us are with you! I have seen many posts on this and I don’t think anyone from Roon has ever responded with their view on this.

So when will Roon for iPad OS finally become fully compliant and behave like a proper citizen - enabling split view and slide over? The last discussion I found about it is already 6 months old, and the capability on iOS for iPads even much older. Explaining why having that would be a good thing is not really necessary, isn’t it? I understand. But the new release is taking so long. And who knows how longer. Last year around, with the 2nd generation iPad Pro 12.9” they fixed the orientation issue in a couple of weeks

iOS iPad App Compatible with Split Screen and Glance

It would be great if on the iPad app you could use the Glance feature to allow for quick access to the Roon app to advance a track or turn the volume down. The interface for the glance could mimic the iPhone layout. See the functionality I’m referring to in the pic below. [image]

Here’s a better screen shot, Sonos is the only music app that supports it (only tried Tidal and Spotify). Sonos on left half, Safari on right [3D456FA1-31E4-483C-A6DF-BCD3344D8B79] Here is a link on multitasking, to be honest I don’t use it much and had to look up how!

Portrait and split screen are essentially the same, the app needs to be able to relayout to a different size viewport. Please do both at once.

I’d love to be able to slide out a small version of Roon from the side when doing something else on the ipad. Mobile portrait layout would be perfect for this.
