@support: No album art on iPadPro [Solved]

Hi,
I am testing roon and have installed the latest versions of roon Version 1.2 (64bit) on a desktop computer running Windows 10 Pro 1607 and my iPadPro with OS 10.2.
Under Windows every thing works, but I’can see any album art or picture on the iPad. All the other text informations are displayed.
My music is stored on a local device of the desktop computer and each music file has embedded art (jpeg) plus a Folder.jpg in each folder.
Do you have a hint for the necessary settings on iPad or Roon Core ?
Kind Regards
Manfred

Hi @Manfred_Zabel ----- Thank you for the report and my apologies for the troubles here. Can you confirm if you notice this behavior on any other devices that can be used as Roon remotes?

Furthermore, have you tried reinstalling the app on the iPad? If so was there any change in behavior here?

-Eric

Hi Eric,
thanks for your feedback, but nothing changed after reinstalling the app on the iPad. I’ve installed the app on an iPhone 6 (IOS 10.2), but get the same behavior: No pictures/album art at all.
Here are my general settings of Roon Core on Windows 10:

Hi @Manfred_Zabel ----- Thank you for the follow up and taking the time to answer my questions. Both are greatly appreciated!

Moving forward, can you confirm for me if your Win10 device that is running Roon Core has any active firewalls currently on it? If it indeed does, may I kindly ask you to please temporarily disengage the firewall(s) and see if there is a change in behavior here.

-Eric

Hi Eric,
that’s the solution. I’am using Eset Smart Security 9. After deactivating the firewall I got album art.
It’s a little bit strange, but even after reactivating the firewall and rebooting the computer I still see the pictures.
Hope it will work still in the next days.
Thanks a lot for your help and a nice evening.
Manfred
