In the meantime, I’ve established that the https version works. However, you lose the logo if you add to my live radio so I’ve added The Mountain to the database instead.

Thank you for checking on it. I’m still getting an error when I try to play the https stream. “Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load”.
Strange, it plays ok for me. Are you playing the station from the database or have you entered the url yourself? (Although that worked too.)

Reboot did not fix the problem. Same result when trying alternate end points. No recent changes. Interestingly, I can play other radio stations.

How about WRFG - an mp3 station.
What is your core running on?
WRFG plays fine.
I’m using a fairly beefy Synology NAS. Just for grins, I switched to my macbook for the core and everything played fine.
Do you know if there’s a way to make this work with my Synology?
Just realised that 95bfm is down anyway - Sorry about that, it’s usually a reliable station. Can you try H2O instead?
If that’s OK, then the problem is reminiscent of a problem that occurs with QNAP NASs - they won’t play aac files since a recent software update. Has there been a software update to your Synology?

H2O seems to work. Agree. this seems to be limited to aac files when using my NAS as the core. This is sad, because otherwise it has been an awesome solution for a couple years.
What model is it?

Tks. We need to test the ffmpeg version on your NAS, but think it’s best to wait for @crieke or @support which is where I’m moving this thread.

Brian, thank you so much for your help. I’m actually going to move towards a dedicated ROCK setup. Been thinking about this for a while.
Ok, although we would like to get to the bottom of this, and your help will be invaluable.
PS I have a Rock and can thoroughly recommend them.
