Could someone please tell me about the Green Tag button which when you click it takes you to the Tag Manager.

Is this for you to create your own Tags?

Hey Tim,

This is for creating your own organizational tags within Roon. You can apply your own tags to Artists, Album, Tracks, Composers, and Works, in order to help organize your collection. We’ve heard of people using these to keep track of where the content comes from, content they want to find better quality copies of, and lots of other uses.

Just keep in mind this is different from file tags, which is the basic metadata stored in your media files. We considered calling this feature “labels” but obviously that has a different potential for confusion :expressionless:

Starting to delve deeper into the Roon experience now, such a great piece of software with so much to explore. Never enjoyed my music so much for years.
