Description of Issue

My Roon setup suddenly do not start and I get the “There was an issue loading your library” and it offers me to restore a backup (that I don’t have).
I tried to delete the Roon.app and re-download and it does the same.
I’m stuck and need advices on how to reset/fix my setup.

If you don’t have a backup to restore, then I’m afraid you’re going to have to start again with a fresh database by doing the following:

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon” and “RAATServer”
  • Rename “Roon” to “Roon_old” and “RAATServer” to “RAATServer_old”
  • Reinstall Roon from our Downloads Page

I will redo all my settings and… take a backup!
