This Internet Radio station won't play

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Windows 7, Roon v1.6, build 401

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
PC’s HDMI output feeds Classe SSP-800

Description Of Issue
Several radio stations work just fine, including KCRW.

The problem station is KUFO 970. This link works fine in a Chrome browser on the same PC:

In Roon it reports: “Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load.”

If I “Edit Station” I can see this Stream URL which looks correct and functions in Chrome (downloads a valid Tune.m3u file)

I’d like to ask if anyone can get KUFO to play in Roon, and if so, please confirm the Stream URL. If it plays, I’ll have to dig into my system further.

I also tried an alternative link that works in Chrome:


But in this case Roon reports it cannot find a radio station at this URL.

Hi @Roger_Dressler,

You are not alone, I am also experiencing an issue with streaming this Radio URL. I have asked QA to take a look at the URL to see if there is anything strange regarding it but do note that my request may take some time to reach their queue. As soon as I hear back, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Thanks for confirming the inability to play the normal radio link.

I contacted the station and they gave me a couple of additional link options, one failed, the other works:
http://stream.abacast.net/direct/alphacorporate-kufoamaac-ibc4?source=internetradio

They also have an MP3 version of the same stream which also works:
http://stream.abacast.net/direct/alphacorporate-kufoammp3-ibc4?source=internetradio

These links work equally well in Roon, VLC, and Chrome.
