I’m not a real support person (they will return on the sixth), but no one has a version 1.7 anymore. There’s no going back.

The better news is that your installation is corrupted in some way or fashion. I’d try reinstalling/rebooting/re/re/re…

I see you have posted another support request and completed the details so that Roon’s support team can help you in due course.

However, for this one I’m not really sure it’s a support request so for now at least I’ve unlisted it to stop people jumping in and speculating.

If it is a support request can you add in more details of the issue in order that the best advice can be given.
