Tidal Daily Discovery

In my Tidal app I get a playlist called “My Daily Discovery” which I surmise is generated at least partly on my music and streaming choices. I really like it because it exposes me to music I might not otherwise find. My issue is in my Roon application when I go to Tidal there is no Daily Discover playlist. Why is this being omitted? Is there a configuration I need to set that I am not aware of or is this an arbitrary choice by the Roon UI developers? In my view if one app is going to offer a portal to another app it needs to be completely transparent and provide all the content of the app it is portaling. Is this my issue or the way the app works?

It’s not your issue, this view is not in Roon, but how do you know it’s Roon’s fault and not Tidal‘s choice to keep such special content to their own app and not provide it to 3rd parties?

Valid point - I had not considered restrictions on the part of Tidal. If that is the case it would be nice if Roon pointed out that “feature x,y,z” are not available because of provider content restrictions.

They don’t usually monitor user discussion here in Roon Software Discussion

While Tidal may not allow the daily discovery playlists, Roon does generate playlists everyday. Some seem to be based on my library and some make no sense whatsoever. I save my playlists quite often and have discovered new music by doing this. I usually queue them up on ARC when I’m in the car.
