Yes, MQA (authoring / display) sample rate 44.1kHz or 48kHz becomes 88.2kHz or 96kHz after going through MQA Core decoding from Tidal desktop app. This is a feature, and came as a surprise to some:

I cannot test with Audirvana, but I expect it to do the same, i.e. send 96/88.2kHz to a non-MQA DAC after MQA Core decoding for MQA Master 48/44.1kHz source files, regardless of what it chooses to display.
