Hi Magnus,

Basically the same idea and your approach reads as a little more sophisticated although maybe harder to implement. Also finding the right parameters for Roon software to decide what makes it to the suggestion list or not will cause a manifold discussion.

That’s why I would say „keep it simple“ and comprehensive, albeit Roon just looking at your favourite artists and go from there.

Alexa can tell you when your favorite artists release new music

Alexa doesn’t come with Roon automatically, and it’s a different environment. Would be good to have this feature directly in Roon.

If its one thing I lack in Roon it’s more (or better) meta-data functionality. Being notified when artists you like release new material is one such functionality.
