Description of Issue

I am using a MacBook Pro that has Roon and communicates wirelessly to my Innuous Zen MK3 streamer, which is my Roon core then it connects by USB to my Aurilac Vega Dac and on to my stereo.

I can play Roon Live Radio just fine and I can stop it and go on to Qobuz and play music just fine and stop it. But when I want to play anything Tidal through the same connection, it has high pitched sounds and is going quickly through less than a half second of each song. Then, I can’t go back into Roon Live Radio or Qobuz and play anything…it just spins.

I then have to completely shut down and restart my Innuos Zen and Aurilac Dac to be able to play the Live Roon Radio and Qobuz.

Tidal DOES play on cell phones and on macbook pro through the computer speakers. Going to Roon/Settings/Services/Tidal and clicking edit it does show I’m signed into Tidal but under ‘streaming quality’ it says ‘Normal’. I cannot recall if this is correct or the usual setting. I do subscribe to the Tidal monthly HiFi Plus subscription.
Note: that yesterday my card expired so Tidal switched itself to the ‘free’ mode but I did update my card info, the payment went through and on the Tidal app it show me on the HiFi plus sub. but today the above issues are occurring.
Thanks!

That is aggravating. Have you tried logging out of Tidal through Roon, reboot your Roon Core and then log back into Tidal through Roon? I have had a similar issue as you with Tidal and this corrected it.
