Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

RoopieXLs, I’m going to try adding an external wifi adapter tonight.

Description Of Issue

Tidal media streams extremely slowly, and stops and skips tracks. If I set the quality to the lowest, it still changes nothing. No issues with streaming local network files.

I know I’m on wifi but I have no problem streaming 4k video, or local files. I can stream master quality tidal without interruption from tidal app from all my devices without issue. It’s a Roon issue for sure, it happened occasionally before 1.8, but since 1.8 I can barely use Roon to listen to anything at all. It has become an exercise in frustration.

Hi @Nick1

We always recommend an Ethernet connection whenever possible — Even if not a permanent solution, it would be helpful to know if an Ethernet connection helps resolve things.

I’d additionally recommend setting your router to use Google DNS as we’ve seen it help with TIDAL performance issues in the past.
